At Legacy Church, we believe that we are ALL called to be worshippers! Romans 12:1 says, 'And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice - the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him'.
The Bible refers to believers as a Holy Priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), and the role of a Priest in the Bible is to Minister directly to God. It is our Praise that ushers in the Presence of God, and while HE is in the midst of us, it is our job, as worshippers (as Priests) to minister directly to HIS heart. That means, whether you are a team member of the Restoration Band, or in the congregation, right where you are, your worship is ministering to Him. What an AWESOME responsibility!
We utilize modern-worship, media tools and effects as a way to attract believers and seekers alike, knowing that if we can grab their attention, we can plant the message of the Gospel, and draw them into the very throne room of God, leading them into authentic, Spirit-filled worship.
